Environmental Health and Safety Policy
PSP recognises the impact of its business activities on its employees, customers, the public and the environment. We are committed to continuous improvement within this area. It is PSP’s policy wherever possible to minimise any environmental impact.
PSP is committed to:
- Prevention of pollution
- Minimisation of workplace hazards
- Compliance with all legal and internal EH&S requirements and legislation
- Minimisation of waste by maximising recycling
- Inclusion of EH&S issues in the design and development of products
- Elimination of or reduction in the use of hazardous materials
- Training and development of our employees
- Customer and supplier communications
Responsibility for EH&S is allocated to the Directors of the company to ensure that effective arrangements are established and maintained for the implementation of this Policy.
It is also the responsibility of the operational management, safety representatives and all operational staff to ensure the Policy is implemented and reported on.
The site EH&S management group will periodically assess the effectiveness of the Policy, updating or improving it as necessary.
